Michael Mancuso, PT, DPT – Clinical Director

Michael Mancuso, PT, DPT is Lower Extremity ART (Active Release Technique) Certified as well as Certified in Myofascial Decompression which is based off the traditional Chinese modality of cupping in combination with movement to treat soft tissue impairments. Mike received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from East Stroudsburg University in 2009 followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton. While pursuing his dream of becoming a Physical Therapist, Mike led by example by becoming the Vice President of his Physical Therapy class. He also traveled to St. Michaels School for Special Needs in Arizona to help guide children with special needs through exercises. Mike gained valuable experience during numerous affiliations in Long Island, Manhattan and Pennsylvania; including his last affiliation at STAR in which he focused on incorporating TRX training. An avid athlete his whole life, he continues to participate in many different sports outside of work, such as playing in an adult soccer league and beach volleyball, and running a half marathon. Mike has also volunteered in the medical tent of the NYC marathon two years in a row.

Frank Xian Yao Gao, PTA

Frank Xian Yao Gao, PTA has an Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from LaGuardia Community College and is licensed to practice as a physical therapist assistant in New York State.

After graduation, he obtained physical therapy experience by working in rehab center, nursing home, inpatient and outpatient clinics. When Frank is not working he enjoys reading, gardening and working in a church as a volunteer.
